It is with great sadness that we inform our members of the death of James Murphy, loving father to our current member Tomas (Jazzer). We extend our deepest sympathies to Tom and the Murphy family on their sad loss.

Murphy, James, Hoganswood, Clane, Co. Kildare and Retired Chief Superintendent, An Garda Síochána, June 16th 2023, peacefully, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Catherine, daughter Mary, and Steve, son Tomás, daughter-in-law Sharon, grandsons Oisín and Eoghan, sister Brid Watkins (Dublin), sister-in-law Susan Murphy (Tullamore), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at his residence on Sunday from 4pm - 8pm with evening prayers at 7pm. Removal from his residence on Monday at approx. 10am to arrive at the Church of St. Patrick and Brigid, Clane for 10:30am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane. Those who are unable to attend the funeral, please leave a personal message for the family in the condolences section below.
