Barry-John’s link to Suttonians RFC goes way back. He started playing for Suttonians from the age of just 6 and coached at both Under 14 and Under 18 levels, He is the current Suttonians RFC golf Society Captain and is in charge of selling pitch signs for the club. Barry-John’s Father Donagh McHenry has been around Suttonians since the very early days, He was club captain in the 1975/76 season and held the position of club President in the 2014/15 season, Barry-John’s uncle Tony McHenry was club president during the 2002/03 season so the McHenry family name synonymous with Suttonians RFC. There has never been a time when Barry-John was not associated with the club in one way or another. 💚💙
