Our own league campaign reaches its finale, and the Men’s Six Nations wraps up as well. It’s a lot to process. Hydration (and possibly recovery time all arranged) will be required.
Sunday – 15th March (AKA Mother’s Day… choose your priorities wisely)
1:30 PM – A very strong Suttonians 2nd XV – “The Eagles” take on Tullamore in their final league game of the season.
3:00 PM – Our First XV face Tullamore and will be chasing a bonus point win that just MIGHT secure a place in the AIL Play-Offs this season.
Could this be our last match in Leinster Junior 1A for a while? We certainly hope so… for the right reasons!
With a pre-match lunch, plenty of sideline support, and the inevitable post-match “expert analysis” in the bar, it promises to be a cracking day down in Sunny Sutton By The Sea.
But before that however the small matter of the grand finale of the 2026 Men’s Six Nations
As confidently predicted here way back in January (a prediction made before any ball was thrown):
- Ireland or France could finish second
- England and Wales battling it out for the Wooden Spoon
If only you’d listened and put money on it back then, you could be buying the drinks this weekend.
