This weekend, February 6β8, Suttonians RFC is proud to support the IRFUβs #RespectOurGame @irishrugbygrassroots campaign. But respect isnβt just for one weekend, itβs something we commit to every matchday, all season long, year after year.
We all want to train, play, and socialise in a positive, welcoming environment, both on and off the pitch. Letβs continue to make β SRFC that place for our players, officials, and visiting clubs alike.
Take a moment to thank the coaches, referees, and touch judges, without them, there is no game.
Applaud great play from both teams.
Make travelling sides feel welcome: offer a cup of tea or coffee, invite them into our clubhouse, and show them what Suttonians hospitality is all about.
Please also remember the many people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the club running.
If you have an hour or two to spare each week, reach out to Emer in the office, your help would be hugely appreciated.
Rugby is so much more than a game. Itβs an education in teamwork, respect, resilience, and passion. It teaches us how to celebrate success, face disappointment, and grow together. Above all, itβs about the community we build.
From minis and youths to senior teams, from supporters to volunteers, letβs uphold our values, look after one another, and be proud of our club.
Be proud. Be respectful. Be β SRFC. πππ€π
