I think that message says it all. It’s a sad day for Suttonians, especially our women’s rugby team and everyone involved in it. We’ve all taken great pride in watching them play, wearing the Suttonians colours with passion and dedication. They’ve made us incredibly proud over the years.
Let’s hope this is just a bump in the road — and like the legendary phoenix, they will rise again to compete in the top division of Irish Women’s Rugby.
