Dylan O'Grady, showcased his exceptional talent during the Singapore Sevens, scoring a stunning individual try from 70 meters to help Ireland to a victory over New Zealand. Dylan is yet another Suttonians to perform at the rugby sevens. His performance on the international stage was a testament to his growth as a sevens player.

Although Dylan is the son of Dan and Emer, his athletic abilities and playing style have drawn comparisons to his uncle, the legendary Steve O'Grady. Observers noted that the long stride and nimble footwork displayed by Dylan on his 70-meter run bore no resemblance whatsoever to his uncle Steve. The O'Grady family has deep rugby roots. Dad Dan’s legendary hamstrings, grandad Eddie who captained the Jamaican national rugby team and uncle Steve all wore the Suttonians Green, White and Blue with pride.  With his combination of speed, vision, and strength, Dylan is proving himself to be a worthy successor in a family with a rich Suttonian rugby heritage.
